A quiet, ongoing exhibition by Anja Axelsson.
The Lost Pages
At a time when so much of culture has moved online —
when art becomes content, connection becomes engagement, and value becomes price —
The Lost Pages moves in the opposite direction.
Paper touching paper.
A human hand that made it, a human hand that finds it.
Books, people, the analogue world in quiet conversation with itself again.
Somewhere in a bookshop or library, a page has been left behind.
Taken from 'a Monologue' — a limited artist’s book —
and placed inside the pages of another.
A gift.
An offering.
A private view for whoever finds it.
If you find one, it is yours.

Placed quietly into the world —
tucked between books,
left to be found over time.
Each bookshop and library becomes
part of the exhibition.

For Bookshops.
Independent bookshops and Librarys are invited to take part in The Lost Pages.
A small number of pages from A Monologue can be sent to you, to be placed quietly within the books on your shelves — wherever you feel they belong. There is no set way to do this. The placement is yours.
Some bookshops choose to share their participation. Others leave the pages to be discovered in silence.
If you would like to take part, you are welcome to get in touch.
